Sharkey Appointed RTape Director of Sales

John Sharkey has joined RTape Corp. as the Director of Sales. In his new position, John will direct sales activities for the US and Canada. He was previously responsible for sales and new business development in Northeastern U.S. and Eastern Canada for Ultraflex Systems.

In addition to an impressive sales track record in the Graphic Arts and Framing markets, John brings proven management experience. As National Accounts Manager for Hasco Sales, John managed and motivated a strong sales team, which included technical sales managers,  independent manufacture reps and an inside sales team.

In his role as National Sales Manager for the Seal Graphics Division of Hunt Corporation, John supervised a sales force of factory direct sales people and independent representatives. Prior to assuming management responsibilities, he established an impressive sales performance record with the Seal organization, consistently exceeding his sales budget.

In 1988, John earned a B.S. degree in Communications Media from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in Indiana, PA. He currently resides in Collegeville, Pennsylvania, north of Philadelphia, with his wife, Kathleen, and three children, Jack, Elizabeth and Andrew.
